Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood
The Al Fahidi fort was built in 1787, and it was opened as a museum in 1971. This place is a popular attraction for tourists to see the traditional, cultural side of Dubai and it is one of the oldest heritage sites of Dubai. The buildings here are made of traditional materials. There are also small museums and other cultural centers around this place. There is no entry fee here.

Jumeirah Mosque
Jumeirah mosque is one of the biggest mosques in and a must-visit place during your Dubai trip. It was built in the year 1979 and this beautiful mosque is also open for non-muslims to visit. This mosque is one of the most photographed spots in Dubai. The large dome of the mosque has intricate detailing and the interiors display elegant craftsmanship. The designs and detailed architecture of the mosque look even more bright and lit up in the evening with the artificial lights. There is no entry fee for the mosque, however, the guided tour costs AED 25 (INR 562) per person.

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
The Grand mosque is the epitome of Dubai’s religious and cultural heritage. This is one of the world’s largest mosques and this mosque is a living reference of modern Islamic architecture. This mosque features some of the largest crystal chandeliers.
Timings: The mosque is open on Saturday to Thursday from 9 am to 10 pm and from 4.30 pm to 10 pm on Friday.

Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum House
This popular heritage site was once a royal residence of the ruling family of Dubai and now it has been converted into a museum. Here the visitors can explore the magnificent structure that is home to photographs, paintings, and other historical items and shows the historic part of the ancient Emirate. This place is located at the Shindagha district and the entry fee is AED 15 for adults and AED 5 for students and free for children under the age of 5.
Timings: The house and museum is open on Saturday to Thursday from 8 am to 8.30 pm and from 3.00 pm to 8.30 pm on Friday.
Dubai Museum
The Dubai museum is one of the oldest existing buildings and the leading history museum in Dubai. This museum was built in 1787 and is located within Al Fahidi Fort. This is a must-visit place for history enthusiasts and the surrounding areas are also worth a visit. This museum depicts Dubai’s original heritage and history and the galleries here recreate souks, mosques, historic arab houses, and scenes from marine and desert life. Al Ahmadiya School
